Human error and poor judgement is the main factor for the rise in the carnage on our roads. It is a very disturbing situation that each time it rains or shines on our highways we have to account for road crashes. The worst affected are the Accra-Tema Motorway and the Notorious Killer N1. It is sad that we never get any statement from the National Road Safety commission on Carnage on our roads.
Spillage of diesel with high temperatures result in slippery surfaces. Vehicle owners should check for cracks on tyres and tyre pressure after every 100km traveled.
Our highways and motorways have potholes that are causing several crashes with fatalities rising daily. The Road Safety Commission should be seen doing something about the Carnage on our roads. Every Life Matters. The speed limit on the Accra-Tema remains 100km/hr and remember two kilometres from and after the Abattoir junction is still the most dangerous section on the Motorway.
